We offer permanently affordable, democratically controlled rental housing. We are 30 members across five houses. We operate group cooperatives and single family apartments. We work with residents who earn low-incomes. All of our homes are in Kalamazoo’s Vine Neighborhood, a core urban neighborhood adjacent to downtown Kalamazoo and WMU/K-College.

OutFront Kalamazoo created a group called Queer Women's Community (QWC) to advocate, support and build a community for LGBTQ+ women. OutFront Kalamazoo's mission is to create a just, inclusive, equitable, and supportive environment in Southwest Michigan for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions. As much as, we love our allies, this group is specifically for women who identify as lesbian, bi, pan, trans, queer, intersex, asexual, or questioning. To join this group you must be 18 years of age or older. QWC provides monthly social events for all self-identified women/wimmin/womyn. Join this group to meet new people, learn about events, and stay in touch!
